Tincup-Related Services

The following is a list of Tincup-related services provided by Enterprise Outfitters:

Each of these services is described in greater detail below.


Software Rental

Software package object licenses are "rented" at 1.75% of the list price per month. Together with the 1.25% charge for upgrades (see Upgrades below), the total monthly cost is 3.00% of the list price per month. This option decreases your initial investment in the product, and puts pressure on us to make sure we do a good job of meeting your needs.

Package rental may be paid on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis at your discretion.

Installation Services

Installation services include the following:

  • Pre-installation consulting
  • Data conversion services
  • Software installation
  • Software configuration

Installation Services are billed on a time and materials basis.

Training

Training is available for all Tincup products. Please e-mail training@outfitr.com for more information. Training services are billed at a pre-arranged price.

Support

In order to receive support, all licensees are required to purchase an upgrade contract and to install all upgrades within three months of their release. We are unable to efficiently support more than two versions of the software at a time.

Support calls are handled on a toll-free telephone or by e-mail. Incoming support calls are of three types: training, consulting, and honest-to-goodness support. Training and consulting calls are billed on a time-and-materials basis. If the answer to your question is in the documentation, and in a place that a reasonable person would think to look, the call is a training call. If the call regards a bug in the software (i.e. the software does not work as documented), or a problem with the documentation, then the call is a support call, and you will not be charged.

Upgrades

Upgrades are provided at a cost of 1.25% of the list price of the modules per month. This includes all major and minor upgrades, and includes sufficient documentation and tools for a competent system administrator to be able to install the upgrades.

Upgrade charges may be paid on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis at your discretion.

Upgrade Services

Upgrades to Tincup are designed to be installed by the customer. However, some customers prefer to have us install upgrades for them. If so, this service is billed on a time and materials basis.

Custom Programming

Custom programming services, including consulting and design work, are billed on a time and materials basis.

Consulting

Consulting services, including accounting system, workflow, and system design, are billed on a time and materials basis.
